Job Introduction:


The incumbent must manage, maintain, and perform quality control on the project documentation generated by the Project’s vendors.  Incumbent will play an important role in ensuring that G4S provides complete project documentation to our customers and that these documents meet the customers’ expectations and G4S’s established level of quality.  Incumbent will be required to perform other typical clerical duties on a temporary basis.


Role Responsibility:


  • Track, format and edit documents prepared by the department staff and/or vendors including quality control plans, safety and health plans, test plans, and design documents.
  • Perform quality control on documents prepared by the department staff and/or vendors to ensure documents are complete and conform to customer requirements.
  • Maintain documents including contract documents, project plans, project reports, project deliverables, correspondence logs, and submittal registers.
  • Support field personnel by providing them with needed documentation as requested.
  • Must be able to work in a deadline oriented environment.  Must be able to work independently and as a team member to achieve goals and objectives of the department and company.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

The Ideal Candidate:


High school diploma or GED equivalency with five years experience in a corporate office environment or other acceptable experience. Applicant must have strong communications skills, both oral and written.  Applicant must have strong organizational skills with exceptional Microsoft Office skills - Excel and Project greatly preferred.  Previous experience with the deployment of a turnkey wireless project is required.  If required by job responsibilities, the incumbent must possess a valid driver’s license.


The applicant must be able to communicate effectively in both oral and written English technical language, both in interpreting requirements and providing reports.  They should possess good customer service abilities along with refined grammar skills.  The position will require substantial interaction with other departments and field employees and outside calls are frequently fielded and must be handled in a professional manner.


The applicant must have the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.  On occasion, the applicant must have the ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.


While performing the duties of this job, the applicant is regularly required to sit; use hand and fingers, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.  The applicant is occasionally required to stand for long periods of time.  The applicant may be required to lift and/or move up to 10 lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable applicants with disabilities to perform essential functions.


While performing the duties of this job, the applicant may regularly work in an office environment.  There is low to moderate noise in this work environment.
