Job Introduction:



The incumbent is responsible for providing project management oversight for the assigned strategic initiatives, overseeing that all aspects of the project management process are completed in accordance with the respective goals.  The Project Manager ensures projects are delivered on time and within budget, escalating issues as needed to the Director of Business Transformation.  Further, the Project Manager will ensure projects are effectively resourced, managing relationships across a wide-range of project contributors.  The Project Manager will provide feedback and guidance to Project Contributors, the Director of Business Transformation, and the Executive Team regarding the strategy and approach to achieve the business goals of the respective projects and G4S.

Role Responsibility:

The project manager is responsible for managing and leading all aspects of multiple projects simultaneously to include but not limited to the following:

  • Developing and maintaining detailed project plans.
  • Developing and presenting project charters.
  • Developing and presenting a business plan if a project requires.
  • Identifying project contributors and form project teams based on strategic goal of respective projects.
  • Preparing for, conducting and guiding project collaborations.
  • Managing project deliverables within the project plans.
  • Recording collaboration minutes and managing action items to include escalating as required.
  • Managing project scopes and change control to include escalating as required.
  • Monitoring project progress and performance.
  • Making informed project decisions as well as form decision teams when needed.
  • Providing regular updates to Project and Executive Sponsors and Senior Leadership as required.
  • Ensuring that all activities on the project are conducted in such a way that protects company assets and adheres to company values, policies and procedures.
  • Developing project presentations as needed and presenting to stakeholders.
  • Project Management Professional Certification is preferred.
  • Providing financial forecasts to accounting as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervision.

A minimum of five years of progressive experience in a high-volume environment in the security industry or another related area.  Work experience that demonstrates working effectively across departments, and/or business units, and at all levels of the organization is an essential requirement.  If not PMP certified, work experience that demonstrates project management knowledge and skills is critical.  A Bachelor’s Degree is required.  An acceptable equivalent in collegiate education and experience will be considered.  Successful candidates must be able to pass drug screening, possess a valid driver’s license, be able to obtain and maintain a valid US passport. 



Communicates effectively in both oral and written English technical language, both in interpreting requirements and providing reports.  Should possess good customer service abilities along with refined grammar skills.  The position requires interaction with other departments and across other business units with employees at all levels of the organization and therefore the incumbent should possess excellent interpersonal skills.



Ability to define problems, collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.  On occasion the ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.



While performing the duties of this job, the incumbent is regularly required to sit; use hand and fingers, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.  The incumbent is occasionally required to stand for long periods of time.  The incumbent may be required to lift and/or move up to 10 lbs. And occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.



While performing the duties of this job, the incumbent will mostly work in a quiet office environment.  If a project necessitates, the incumbent may have to visit and work occasionally at a project site where there is a moderate noise level.  Up to 15% travel may be required for this position.
