As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for administering the security contract and ensuring compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements. This position will act as the company liaison with client, law enforcement agencies, customers, and employees. This position is also responsible for providing management oversight and driving operational accountability through effective change management and leadership development processes. This position is the primary point of contact for Human Resources functions involving company employees.

Role Responsibility:

Specific Duties and Essential Functions

  • Primary liaison between company and client senior management
  • General Operations management; review post orders and make recommendations to corporate security when updates should be considered; review daily log reports and provides pass downs as required; responsible for officers meeting company standards pertaining to quality of work performed on an ongoing basis, performing all work related tasks in a manner that is in compliance with all company policies and procedures including worldwide business standards
  • General Human Resources management; including selection and placement, quarterly performance reviews, attendance management, conflict resolution; scheduling, and payroll, maintain a current copy of the contractor's organizational chart of individuals involved in the contract
  • Review alarm system open/close reports, compile exception reports and forward to appropriate security manager/operations manager for review
  • Provide monthly report to the facilities and corporate security organizations detailing all pertinent activities that have occurred in the previous month concerning any security and safety issues; when necessary, develop corrective action plans and report progress to the client for guard performance deficiencies; the client will review and approve proposed corrective action plans developed by Contractor's Project Managers
  • Administer G4S Safety Program; semi-annually review and revise the security Emergency Response plan
  • Conduct and document for security officer training
  • Meeting with the Client's Facility Security Manager on a weekly basis to discuss officer performance, training and operational issues; the client reserves the right to request additional meetings as necessary

The Ideal Candidate:

Education, Licenses and Certifications Required

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary state or federal licensing requirements

Type and Length of Specific Experience Required

  • Minimum of 10 years of security, law enforcement or military experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of security, law enforcement or military experience in a supervisory/management role
  • Work history to include demonstrated knowledge of security and safety inspections and electronic security systems

  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Active listening skills
  • Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively
  • Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately
  • Attention to detail

Other

  • Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by the state, if higher
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
  • Must possess strong administrative, communication and supervisory skills
  • Must be willing and able to be present at all major events to supervise the security services of their personnel
  • Must not use illegal drugs. Must be able to pass a drug test with negative results (except when undergoing documented medical treatment).
  • Must submit to an extensive background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verifications, and Department of Motor Vehicle and credit checks if applicable
  • Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military

Physical Requirements and Environment

Environment: Office and outside field work in extreme temperatures is expected

Major activity: Working on PC while sitting; telephone use, walking outside, standing long periods of time

Physical efforts to carry out job duties: Standing, walking, bending, and limited stretching and reaching.
