As a Regional Healthcare Services Manager, you will be responsible for G4S Secure Solutions’ healthcare business for specific customer accounts.  You must have an acute awareness of the healthcare environment and the contract security business. You will be expected to provide leadership, coaching, and direction to the entire healthcare leadership team.  You will be primarily responsible for the retention and profitability of the healthcare business through excellent customer service delivery in collaboration with Directors, General Managers, Operations Managers, and others.

Role Responsibility:

Specific Duties and Essential Functions

  • Project management: provide supervision to the Healthcare Site Security Directors and Healthcare Site Security Managers, and Healthcare Site Security Supervisors; oversee disciplinary processes; oversee the staffing of security officers to ensure efficient scheduling is in place; oversee that contract-required training and screening elements for security officers have been met, quality assurance and contract compliance; manage excessive overtime; typing correspondence, developing spreadsheets and memorandums; oversee records maintenance processes per G4S, client, and Joint Commission requirements; inventory and purchase all G4S equipment
  • Ensure that the planned profitability of all services is realized by utilizing sound financial management principles and continual review of appropriate management information reports (e.g., Profit & Loss, Job Profitability, Weekly Hours, budgeting, collections, etc.)
  • Ensure that G4S Secure Solutions (USA) Inc. is providing quality service to our client(s) and that these account(s) are operated in a manner consistent with established policies, contracts, and applicable laws; maintain an active, strong client relations program by making frequent personal visits to discuss any problems or recommendations for the improvement of service provided
  • Report writing; prepare required reports for client and G4S management
  • Oversee the safety program and development of the program for all facilities
  • Schedule & attend meetings
  • Work on operational process improvement by preparing monthly reports and evaluating data analytics to identify trends and opportunities for improved service delivery and greater efficiency

The Ideal Candidate:

Education, Licenses and Certifications Required

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must possess one or more of the following:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Criminal Justice, Finance, Healthcare Administration or another related discipline
    • A minimum of six (6) years of progressive advancement in security supervision/management
  • Meet and maintain any applicable licensing or certification requirements

Type and Length of Specific Experience Required

  • Work experience must include each of the following:
    • Demonstrated aptitude for assisting in the operational management of a large semi-independent business enterprise
    • Demonstrated knowledge of The Joint Commission (TJC) Environment of Care Standards
    • Strong consultative, analytical and business development skills

  • Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by the state, if higher
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
  • Must submit to a pre-employment drug test
  • Must submit to an extensive background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verifications, and Department of Motor Vehicle and credit checks if applicable
  • Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military

Physical Requirements and Environment

Environment:         Office; minimal to no exposure to extreme temperatures is expected

Major activity:        Working on PC while sitting; telephone use

Physical efforts to carry out job duties:  Limited, to include some standing, bending, limited stretching and reaching, driving.
